Hi Justin,

I have compiled VPOPmail v 5.2.1 

this is the output of ls -l 

drwxrwxr-x9 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Jul  2 08:44 vpopmail

drwxrwxr-x2 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Aug 11 16:30 bin
drwxrwxr-x4 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Jun 19 18:37 doc
drwxrwxr-x3 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Jul 30 17:31 domains
drwxrwxr-x2 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Aug 12 09:40 etc
drwxrwxr-x2 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Jun 19 18:37 include
drwxrwxr-x2 vpopmail vchkpw   4096 Jun 19 18:37 lib

can u help me ??

 how did you install vpopmail ?
 the first error message looks like a permission problem.
 could you show the output of  ls -l ~vpopmail please ? (i assume your
 vpopmail system user is called vpopmail)

 oh.. and would you please add how your pop3 daemon is started ?
