My one comment regards:

A few people from the community have been contacted by PPMC members to see if 
they are interested in becoming committers.

Wouldn't the following be more accurate?

Aaron, Andy, and I have been taking care of these.  Does anyone else want to 
have a crack at this one?  It would be a good way to step up involvement in
