Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Assigned to: renzo davoli (rd235) Summary: vdeterm doesn't reset terminal on error Initial Comment: Hi, this bug appears to go back awhile (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vde2/+bug/804647), whoever I just confirmed with latest svn checkout that simply typing 'vdeterm' leaves my terminal in a bad state. The problem actually appears to be that it resets it when it doesn't need to. The attached patch could be totally wrong but seems to fix it for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: renzo davoli (rd235) Date: 2012-08-03 08:03 Message: The patch just added on svn should solve the problem both in mainstream code and in rd235 branch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2012-07-25 04:41 Message: Sorry I don't have my sf login info. If you wish to follo wup with me, please feel free to do so either at the launchpad bug link in the bug Details, or at serge dot hallyn at ubuntu dot com. Note I typed too fast when posting the patch, the moved 'termset = 1' should come after the tcsetattr a few lines later, not after the tcgetattr where I put it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=611248&aid=3548041&group_id=95403 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
