edit it and set LOCDIR=./locale

as vdr-1.5.8 now uses vdr-$(PLUGIN).mo as filename, i18n-to-gettext.pl should
add corresponding code to Makefiles.

Compressing and normalizing aren't the same thing. I would strongly
recommend against a compression ratio that high anyway as it total
ruins
