Re: [vdr] analogtv, tt s-2300 ff-dvb card and blue faces

2007-11-30 Thread Eddi De Pieri
I should understand the problem...

the problem is in player-analogtv.c

there is a multiplier of 1927,5 that is ok for bttv, while for saa7134
is different.

This should be patched by adding a dynamic multiplier by reading min/max
value in a similar way like list_controls in v4l2-ctl.cpp

There is a maintainer for this plugin that may write a patch?

Regards

Eddi

 Hi mailing list,

using analogtv I get from video out of my dvb card blue faces. How
 can I solve this?

 My configuration with problem:

   Lifeview FlyDVB trio
   Technotrend S-2300

   modprobe saa7134 oss=1
   modprobe saa7134_oss
   modprobe dvb-ttpci

   vdr-1.5.11 + AnalogTV patch (from e-tobi.net repository)
analogtv 1.00-11 (with mp1e from same distribution patched for
 analogtv)

I've read that sometimes blue face can be corrected by changing Y, Cr, Br
with Y, Br, Cr, but. how to do so? There is a patch for mp1e?

The problem seems to be caused by a wrong video format used by saa7134
 module and mp1e.

My other machine, with bt878 based card and xineliboutput, shown the right
 picture.

 1. With vdr-sxfe I seem to have some tearing effect. Does XV support
 sync-to-vblank?

Yes its does. You can use xvinfo and xvattr to see the current
settings, and xvattr to set them.
