A new developer version of the VDR Text2skin plugin was just released:

This is a *developer* version to test the new features. Most of the
existing skins should work without changes. Skins that use fonts other
than VDR's s

is there someone that tried to compile vdr to run on an EmTec Q800
Movie Cube ? The firmware is very poor for a commercial product and I
would like to know if there is any chance to replace it with vdr.
