If this upgrade upgraded the xorg-stuff, most likely some of the xorg- libraries, which are normally overwritten by the NVIDIA-driver (assuming you are using the proprietary driver), have been re-overwritten. Try to reinstall the proprietary NVIDIA-driver. regards, -- Patrick
