This is with good signals, neither the stv0299 nor the stv090x cards have any problems with the signal. My stb0899 card is a technisat skystar hd2. There's also the EX-1011, which is the same as the EX-1010 with a larger case, so long PCI cards fit. I use both (on different computers), and they indeed work very well.
