yeah,
this was it. i didn't get audio out of my alsadev, just because the vdr user
wasnt in this audio group.

Hello again,
I made to many mistakes in my last post.
First to get /dev/dsp working, load the snd-pcm-oss
modprobe snd-pcm.oss
After that add the user who wants to play something to the audio group
and login again.
You can add the user in /etc/group or you can use the adduser tool.

here are some debuggin outputs, for just to be sure that alsa works for me:
cat /dev/urandom >/dev/dsp works, get this funny white noise out of my s
