I use the Hauppauge HVR4000 card and I can lock all of them Canalsat dvb-s2
channels without any problem.

I could run vdr 170 + cvs xineliboutput + yesterday's dshowserver patch for
coreavc 1.7 + HG xine-lib. But I have only audio on hdtv-channels, without
video. My report about this in xine-user list

the TV channel logo graphics collection installed on my vdr has about
650 logos, many of them out of date, some of them in bad shape.
So it might be a good idea to update the collection.
Asking my lawyer confirmed that distributing TV channel logo graphics
for open source software is problem

Be carefull ! New CANAL cards will shortly not working on other demodulator
than the official one.
CANAL is doing that because they don't want that the susbscribers record any
