I think that the best option would be to add Fedora's virt-preview repo (http://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virt-preview/fedora-18/rpms/) which includes a precompiled version of a new-enough libvirt. I believe there was a way to inherit packages from this repository to ovirt nightly (on the server side), but I cannot recall what it was.
