Immediate need:

 

QA Engineer with strong Perl

 

Location: San Jose, CA

 

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Phone Screen then Face to Face Interview - Locals please

 

Rate: $45/hr c2c

 

The QA Engineer will work closely with product management and development team to ensure high quality standard of web-based and distributed applications

in a fast-paced environment following an agile process for software development. In addition to covering all aspects of the QA lifecycle for manual testing,

the QA Engineer will also be tasked to work with development on automated testing script for existing and new products.

 

At least 2 years QA experience with a minimum of one year in agile software development and testing methods

 

Significant experience programming in PERL script (Required)

Working experience testing web-based/Distributed applications

Experience with bug tracking tools, preferably ClearQuest

Experience in unit testing

Experience in automated testing

Experience with Windows and Linux

Working knowledge of SQL command line

Working knowledge of HTML and XML
