1. Strong NOC (Network Operations Center) support background- ensuring
stability of the Network
1. Includes WAN/LAN, Network Security, and Telephony
(troubleshooting/operational perspective, not design)
2. Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco ASA Firewalls,
3. Layer 2, layer 3 routing, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
2. Must have experience providing maintenance and support on Global
Networking Infrastructure
3. *Previously worked at a carrier or ISP (internet service provider) -
with operational duties *
*Preferred previously experience in Biopharma *
This person will be joining the Network Engineering team for a rapidly
growing Biopharmaceutical company.
They will be acting in a senior/lead capacity, ensuring stability and
providing daily support on the Global Network Infrastructure, responding to
Network issues, and offering guidance to junior level engineers on the
team.
They must have a strong understanding of Cisco routers, switches, WAN
acceleration devices, VPN devices, and firewalls.
Their scope of work will include the monitoring of all network related
systems (WebEx, etc.), and working with telecom service providers and local
staff to resolve complex issues.
They must be capable of providing team management, have excellent
communication, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
