Job Role: Senior Java SOA Developer (2 years + experience in Web Sphere) Duration: 6+ MONTHS Location: Chicago IL Primary Responsibilities • Design and development of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM) based solutions for our customers • Strive to become and act as an authoritative expert in SOA related technologies, particularly Apache ServiceMix and IBM Business Process Manager stacks • Develop proof of concepts and prototypes as needed for pre-sales support and post-sales implementation • Collaborate with other project team members in driving out requirements and system analysis • Promote and implement Agile (Scrum) development methods and techniques on projects, including test driven development, test automation and build and release automation • Remain abreast of new products, technologies and industry trends, especially related to SOA, BPM, Web Services, and Mobile technologies • Understand technical infrastructure and recommend solutions consistent with the environment, technical knowledge and skills, resources, availability requirements, etc. • Supply work breakdown and effort estimates to project and engagement management and ensure prompt delivery of work as estimated • Analyze design risks and provide mitigation options • Identify technical project priorities, implementation dependencies, risks and issue; provide solutions/recommendations to ensure smooth and successful project delivery Skills • 5+ years of Java / JEE software development related to enterprise integration technologies such as ESB, BPEL, MQ, JMS, SOAP Web Services (WSDL), XML, RESTful Web Services • Experience with IBM Business Process Manager / WebSphere Process Server required • Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills; exceptional verbal & written communication skills • Excellent self-learner with high aptitude to acquire and master new technology skills • Working knowledge in establishing automated build and release frameworks (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, FindBugs, JUnit, etc.) • Highly effective time management and organizational skills; self-directing with assignments • Experienced in Agile (Scrum) software development methodologies • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment • Strong customer service and solutions orientation • Demonstrated experience developing XML schemas and XSLT transforms; promoting consistent data sharing techniques across enterprise systems • Ability to elicit, evaluate and critique functional and technical requirements and design • Ability to create relational data models (ER Diagrams) and well-honed SQL skills desired • Experience developing integration applications that run in cloud infrastructure environments (Amazon EC2, etc.) desired -- Thanks & Regards, *Naveen Krishna* Cloudeeva, Inc.
