Resolve client technical issues to return the client to productivity as
quickly as possible; adhere to signed service level agreements with
Business Units. Conduct research into system features and enhancements and
recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Follow
MDT-IT standards, procedures and methodologies for project management and
system development. Work on admin level requests, configuration and
development in a multiple tenant environment, leveraging ITIL processes,
responsible for technical support including designing, developing,
modifying, evaluating and supporting programs for internal functional area.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Resolve client technical issues:
o Isolate and determine root cause of technical problem based on client
input and remote management technology
o Determine effective resolution of issues by troubleshooting and analyzing
computer system errors of moderate to difficult scope where analysis of
situations or data require an in-depth evaluation
o Determine business impact of problem based on Business Unit criteria
o Provide remote technical support for software (ServiceNow)
o Interact with internal and/or external escalation resources to resolve
complex technical issues
• Create and update knowledge base to improve service to clients including:
develop written procedures, tips, reports, and support related material
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and
complexity
• Ensure that systems and the information on them are protected in
accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as
best Information Protection practices
• Work with team to develop new solutions for process/development related
problems.
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile
documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to
resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data
acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Work closely with
internal team and functional users to enhance and maintain programs.
• Software testing and proper documentation of all errors found.
• Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise
logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug
programs.
• Understand and utilize MDT-IT tools, standards, and methodologies for
project management, documentation, systems development, and implementation.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Ensure that systems and the information on them are protected in
accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as
best Information Protection practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5-7 years of IT experience with B.A or B.S.; 0-3 years of IT experience
with M.A. or M.S.
• Experience in implementing/ administering one of the following Tools:
o Service Now-ITSM and experience with at least one or more Modules: HR,
Service Catalog, Asset Management), CMS (Content Management), self service
portal
• Experience with browsers, databases, Cloud hosted application
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification-preferred
• Experience with browsers, databases, Cloud hosted application
