*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

   - Five (5) years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) on
   Oracle database version 11g or above.
   - Five (5) years of experience as a DBA supporting databases on Red Hat
   Linux 5.x or higher.
   - Three (3) years of experience migrating Oracle databases
   - Three (3) years of experience as a DBA supporting databases with a
   size of at least 2 TB.
   - Five (5) years of experience with Oracle 11g or higher:
   - • Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, Change Management Pack and/or
   Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) .
   - • Writing PL/SQL objects.
   - • Supporting Oracle databases that utilize the RMAN backups to disk
   and tape.
   - • Supporting Oracle databases using replication/materialized views.
   - • Supporting Oracle databases using triggers.
   - • Using Oracle database auditing utilities.
   - Three (3) years of experience with virtualizing Oracle databases
   - Five (5) years of experience supporting Oracle databases on ASM
   (Automatic Storage Management).
   - One (1) year of experience upgrading databases to Oracle 12c
   - Five (5) years of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters
   (RAC) database version 11g or higher.
   - Two (2) years of experience as a DBA using Oracle Enterprise Manager
   for monitoring and alerting.
   - Oracle DBA 11g or higher Certified Professional (provide proof of
   certification).

Experience as a DBA supporting government retirement database

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *

1. Five (5) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
on Oracle database version 11g or above.   2. Five (5) years of experience
as a DBA supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 5.x or higher.

3. Five (5) years of experience writing Unix Shell scripts.

4. The candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience as a DBA
supporting RAC databases with a size of at least 7 TB and version 11.2 or
higher.

5. Five (5) years of experience with Oracle 11g or higher:

• Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, Change Management Pack and/or
Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) .

• Writing PL/SQL objects.

• Supporting Oracle databases that utilize the RMAN backups to disk and
tape.

• Supporting Oracle databases using replication/materialized views.

• Supporting Oracle databases using triggers.

• Using Oracle database auditing utilities.

6. Five (5) years of experience writing clear and concise documentation
(standards, best practices, procedures).

7. Three (3) years of experience using Oracle Exadata and Oracle ZFS
storage appliance to support ZFS cloned Oracle databases

8.  Three (3) years of experience virtualizing Oracle databases.

9. Two (2) years of experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud
Control.

10.  Three (3) years of experience using Oracle's Data Integration tools
such as GoldenGate and ODI

11. Three (3) years of experience designing and supporting an Oracle Data
Warehouse.

12. Oracle DBA Certified Professional (provide proof of certification).



*DESIRED QUALIFICATION*

1. Experience as a DBA supporting government retirement database systems

2. Experience with Oracle Real Application Testing.

3. Experience in: database design, SQL scripting and tuning, SDLC
processes, for a government system.
