Im
configuring a backup that has 3 different schedules.
Daily,
retention period 1 month, runs daily
Weekly,
retention period 1 month, runs every Friday
Monthly,
retention period 1 year, runs last Friday of the month
However
what happens when I want the Weekly to run

Completely disagree - we get the best of both worlds and restores have never
been any real issue for us, even large amounts of data across multiple
tapes.
