Dear All,
Once you have setup the KMS and assuming you want to restore them. What is
the necessary info required to restore.
Pool Name ??
Key Name = ??
Key Tag ??
etc
Phase-1 and Phase-2 don't show this info.
From where we will get this info for the restore.
With Warm Regards

Hello List, I'm wondering if anyone out that is using SSIM to centralize
their logging. We have begun to use it here, but from what I've found,
NetBackup 6.5 running on a Solaris master isn't supported by any of the
collectors that Symantec provides... So, I'm hoping somebody out there
is doing t
To answer your question about the partitioning, when you partition the
ML6000 yes, you see separate libraries, robotic control arms, drives and
slots. However, I agree with Scott that it would be less complex to use
different media types, as long as you segregate your barcodes.

Same here, simple - works fine.>>> "Chapman, Scott" 3/10/2010 1:12 PM >>>
I just use the different type of media within netbackup. HCART2 for my lto2's and HCART for my lto4's. Easy.

Hello,
I am planning to partition my dell 6020 as part of my KMS encryption
project. My library has 2 LTO-4 and 4 LTO-3 drives. What is the "Best
Practice" for managing a library with different drive models? Do most
people partition their libraries or use different media types in
Netbackup?
We normally restore mailboxes to a recovery storage group and then use exmerge
to merge the two without this duplicate issue you are seeing.

OK...thanks Marion.
We are now chasing that down and seeing if we can get that taken care of.

Perhaps it is an oracle thing?
I had our DBA remove the "check logical" parameter and our throughput improved

All,
I've got a co-worker fighting with an issue neither of us have much
experience with. He's successfully configured our Exchange 2003 mailbox
backups (Netbackup 6.5.3.1 all around) with the required accounts,
backup selections, etc. and can cherry pick individual mailboxes and
backups complete
I'll second that, convert to decimal 0x1e = 30 and then go here, same codes
apply for Netbackup and BackupExec
