You can use these commands
Set the media server to active/inactive
nbemmcmd -updatehost -machinename Media Server -machinestateop
set_admin_pause -machinetype media -masterserver Master Server
nbemmcmd -updatehost -machinename Media Server -machinestateop
clr_admin_pause -machinetype media

The restore of a solaris 8 client on another solaris 8 client is failing with
error code.
PS:When i try to restore by checking renname hard links and soft links it
completes with code 0 but i need to preserver the soft links so when i uncheck
these it fails with code 5.

In my experience a 99 usually indicates that the file/folder/directory no
longer existed at the time NDMP went to read it.
