When i take backup of SYSTEM STATE/Shadow Copy Com of DOMAIN Controller
having W2K8 R2 system it gives me error code 71...but for other W2K8 R2 server
which are not DC SS backup happens without any problem.
Any suggestions/procedure how to take SS backup of DC with W2K8 R2.
You should only use the cluster name in MSCS for managing the cluster.

I looked at one of my backups from last night.
I had a job for SCC (but no job for SS)
Yet when I look at last night's jobs in the BAR I have both a SCC and a SS to
restore from.
Under NFS clients on our DD670's we noticed that /backup/ost was shared
out to * and as we're trying to eliminate shares that are wide open (and
we were under the misconception that OST was it's own protocol
unassociated with NFS) we deleted the share. BOOM !!... all backups to
OST storage units

you can't put an include/exclude file on the client..

Yes, we were having issues while backing up MSEXCH. We got a eng. patch from
SYMANTEC which is applied on this setup. When MSEXCH backup were initiated it
use to terminate other backups both network and SAN based. Hence we got this
eng. patch applied..
