What are your positive (but most of all) negative experiences with BMR regarding setup, configuration, maintenance and restore issues. We are challenged with setting this up and I would like not to have it in place due to the fact I heard that it requires quite some maintenance. Best Regards,

If the hostname column is blank then the hostname is not being reported to vCenter which in turn cannot report the hostname to NetBackup. A previously mentioned, one cause for this could be that VMware tools has not been installed inside the VM. Another reason could be that the VM has never
