I have been asked to read 7 LTO5 tapes that were backed with NBU 7.5 up using encryption I was sent the key that was used for encryption. I have not done any encryption with NetBackup 7.1 which is what we are using. We have LTO2 drives at the moment so I know I will need to buy the LTO 5 drives

Hi, You need LTO-5 tape drives to read the media. You need the NBKMS key dir: /usr/openv/kms, have them quiesce the DB on their side or stop services tar that dir, and then place it on your master server and run nbkms (starts the nbkms service), then you need to import those tapes then

I am trying to setup blat and am not geting it from the doccumentation. so i am editing nbmail.cmd or backup_exitnotify.cmd? and what am I typing to get the status code, server and policy in the email? :EndMain :SendEmail blat %OUTF% -s %1:%5 -t unixadm...@mediaocean.com -i back...@mbxg.com
