has to be disabled on master servers but enabled on media servers.

ran. In this case, since nothing is
running anyway, it won't hurt to reboot your master server. Once NetBackup
is back up, manually submit one job to see if it starts to run.

to find that recovery CD? Are you regularly updating that Knoppix
CD with a current NetBackup client or are going to find yourself with a 4.5
client when your master server is up to 7.6? Are you testing that CD? Do
you have a copy of that CD in your offsite storage location?

recommendation would be to re-image the system and configure it as a
media server in the new master's environment. This will be much less
troublesome than trying to undo the current config and have it join the new
master.
