Hello All,
Is there a way to verify a file was backed up to tape, some sort of
Veritas command? I would like to create a script to notify me so I can
delete some files and keep a file system cleaned up.
Thanks

It is my under standing that you need to still go to 6.0 mp4 before 6.5, and
that 6.5 is really just an DOT Upgrade

I am almost there with the script. I will pass it on. I am having

a manual process. When the script runs I want it to automatically change
the date to the previous day so I can use the previous night backup's

Hi,
Is anyone out there doing restore certification on regular bases? I have
been tasked to do this by weekly and the only way I know how to do this
is by scripting it for multiple servers.
Thanks,

You can do this locally on each system,
Bring up the backup archive and restore window on the client
Select the Netbackup Client options
In there you will find Exclude and Include tabs.

Sorry did not read the whole e-mail. I know
of no other way, I have always either had to reboot/recycle or remove the
bpjobd.act.db this of course removes all of the active jobs. I would be interested
as well if there was another way.
