If you have no barcode rules defined, then that means when you put a new tape into the library it goes directly into the NetBackup pool and Not into the Scratch pool as desired. This means that when you are loading tapes into the library you must then manually change the volume pool from NetBa

OK...here's a question for everyone. I have come into a NBU 6.5.3 environment as a new backup admin. For some unknown reason they had no barcode rules defined, so all of the 8-character barcodes are getting the last 6 characters for the media database. Hence a barcode that has AP1000L3 is tu
