appliances. We
have implmented 2 domains and are attempting to use an SLP and AIR to
replicate images from one
Netbackup domain to the other.

At the beginning of the month we switched from robotic self cleaning to
NetBackup tape alert based cleaning.
This appears to be working fine in that when the robot issues an alert saying a
tape drive needs cleaning NetBackup is mounting a cleaning tape and showing
success on the cleaning.
It sounds like you want to keep using the existing media in your library for
backups moving forward? in which case this won't work.
If you are happy to consign all of your existing media to a purgatory volume
pool, this will work...

Not sure if you had an answer, but maybe manually configure IP / Network
settings, then try mapping as \\IPADDRESS\SHARE
file://\\IPADDRESS\SHARE ?

We use netbackup to handle the drive cleaning, and this is the correct way. We
do not have the problem you describe.

There are many ports of unix commands at windows . You can find grep and awk
