Quick Idea, what do you all think ?
It would appear that retrieving device names and serial numbers remotely
can't be done through NBU so what about setting up a scheduled job on
each windows media server to run every 5 mins or so to run tpautoconf -t
, output it into the desired format and then
Getting 128kb from one client over a 100mbit network connected to the
backup server which is gig ethernet and attached to L700 by fibre using
LTO2 drives.
When ever had this before its always just been duplex and autoneg
settings but this time that hasnt fixed things

You have to enable the suspend functionality by setting the
check point in the policy.
Go to a policy and ensure that you checked (not checked by
default) the check point feature.

DaveIf you can ftp/scp a file from one server to another with a normal throughtput, certainly it´s not a network issue.Have you tested bpbkar to /dev/null on the client? How the client CPU behaves when you start a backup?

Nope all bang up to date, and all MP applied!

Seems to only take about 5 mins to do the whole system doing that which

Done it again, and was able to suspend the job! So can only think it has
something to do with the policies.
I just created another new policy, copied the contents from an old existing
