For the past few weeks, I am seeing the following files having warning
messages against the job, resulting in status 1.
I have been going through all of my jobs, to clean up the Status 1's,
but I have not found a Technote that relates to the errors below:

I have configured netbackup air in my nb 7.1 unix servers.
Everything is working as I aimed except duplication job is starting
after 30 minutes backup job finished.
Do you know any parameter to determine this?
Why duplication job start after 30 minutes?

bpclntcmd -pn might give a hint to what the problem is, and there is always
the bpcd log in combination verbose = 5 or more in the bp.conf
Make sure you connect through vnetd (13724) in both directions

I have the opportunity to take on the project of replacing our old Storagetek
L700. The time has come to make a choice either T200 Spectralogic library or
Quantum I500. I have been looking at everything as far as all the
features/options. I just haven't talk to anyone using any of

I have worked with the Quantum i500 and it has been a very reliable
library. In 1 year we had a total of 2 issues with it and they were
fixed the next day. Neither issue left the library unusable!!!
Management is pretty much set-it and forget-it and operations are fairly
simple.
We replaced an STK L180 with an i500 about 15 months ago. We went from LTO2 to
LTO5. Quantum let us rent an LTO3 drive which we used to copy all our
long-retention images to the new media.
We looked at Spectra too. The Spectra came out a little more expensive and I
thought their robot design

That was a nice summary. I assume that these are Quantum tape drives? What you
say about the tape drives w ith the control path and the serial interface to
the library is the same for IBM tape drives and an IBM 3584 tape library.
