Does anyone out there have a script to allow NBU to send you the list of
skipped files for a status 1 job? Or know of a way to get NOM to report
these without having to go through each job one by one to track them
down...I'm spending way to much time each day hunting these little
buggers down
on the client.

I've got one job that I run daily that has been giving me fits for a few
weeks now. Its a clustered resource that kicks off (see below for job
status logs). But its now almost 10 hours later, and the job is still
waiting to begin writing. I have not made changes to the job, or to the
backup

Have you tried turning OFF VSP/VSS + disabline snapshots? This should
solve the problem.

I seem to have run into a wall with my upgrade to 6.5... The install
went poorly (to say the least) and I ended up having to remove 6.5...and
then 6MP4...now 6.0 will reinstall, but MP4 will not. So I've removed
everything and am attempting to just jump right to 6.5 and do a catalog
recovery and
there...

You are supposed to upgrade to 6.0MP4 before doing
length to 6 characters.
Thanks for your help all.

I've recently gone thru the white paper for data protection of an
exchange server and we have our backups setup just like the 'Good'
solution that is shown...we are backing up Microsoft Information

My apologies, I'm running NBU 6.5 and Exchange 2003...I'm in the process
of upgrading to 6.5.1 now.

I get this same issue, if you go up to view there is a refresh all
option, but we really shouldn't have to hit that to get the activity
monitor to refresh for us...other than that I really haven't noticed any
other issues with the update, of course, now that I've said something...

I recently started doing brick level backups of my exchange data and I'm
getting an odd error message in my logs, the error is:

I would think you just need to tell it where on the dest. The data needs

your telling BAR to restore to Dest. Z you should be able to just
specify where on Z you want it to be restored to... Bear in mind, I've
only ever used NBU
I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this and what they did to resolve
the issue. I've currently got a windows 2003sp2 x32 master server (6.5.1) and
media servers (2) attempting to backup a group of windows 2003sp2 r2 x64
cluster servers running SQL. My issue is that the backups for the
