I want to use
synthetic backups for a large client. The question is, Can I have the Normal
full go to tape and then have the diff inc go to a dsu and have the synth full
go to tape? If so, how would I set up a policy for this?
Thank You,

Don't know why MS considers these to be important OS

Now, Win2k3 - just checked a client and on the left
If you created a new stu on these, did you restart netbackup? Usually
that will happen on a new storage unit if you don't stop and restart
NBU. You can also try the following commands if you can't stop NBU right
now. Sometimes it will work and sometimes you just have to restart NBU.

Can someone point me
to where in the docs it states that Netbackup backs up the ctime, mtime, inode
etc under unix, or what exactly it does backupother than just the
data?I have auditors asking about this. I'm sure it does back it up, but I
need proof from an NBU doc.

It won't be any better. It still uses MAPI in 6.0 to read each mailbox.
As long as it does this, it will ALWAYS be SLOOO!

Is there any command
line prog I can use to list the schedules of ALL policies at once? I'm trying to
find what policies are set to run fulls on Saturday.
Any recommendations
for the fragment size when using LTO2 drives? Any other tuning tips for a 5.1
setup using LTO2.
I have a similar situation. I have a tape that shows up in the media
list in the gui, but I can't delete it or anything. I get the message
that the volume is not in the NB database.
