hostname of the backup server to be the same as its embedded into the
catalogue and with different host names i couldnt get the robot

supposed to allow recovery of the database to an alternate host. This is

The dhost parameterjust restores the files from the catalog backup to a host other than the one you're running bprecover on. So you might have files other than the master catalog one the catalog backup tape, such as a media server's voldb, or even some non-NetBackup files. I used to backup several
