In case of normal OS level backups Full backup is required to go with a cumulative backup. But in case of NDMP even if Full backup has expired, we can still restore data from a cumulative backup if data is in the cumulative backup image. From: jlight...@water.com To:

OpsCenter can do this, I believe. You can setup roles in the product to keep rogue admins out of what they shouldn't be in. The basic version is free, so you should have it available. It's accessed via a web page, so it sounds like this will get what you want. Thank you, Rusty -Original

Speaking of reimport, I've always found it a chore to find the media containing expired images. I remember it being very easy in NetWorker (Legato) as it was simply a matter of running a query of the backup which ID'ed the media, then performing the required import. How does one do query part
