Good news is that with 7.01 coming out in a month or so will allow NBU to
multi-stream NDMP data to a single tape drive.
This will/may alleviate some of the performance issues many of you experience
each day. However I am not sure of any limitations of this feature patch may
have.

To all,
We are on the verge of implementing puredisk dedup into our NBU environment.
I have read up on this feature, but I would prefer to get real life comments on
this solution, so with that being said:
What has been your experience with PureDisk dedupe? Does it work? What are some
gotchas?
Is anybody running NBU 7.0 on an OS called centOS? From what I understand it is
Red Hat without the RHEL branding.
Thank you

Normally you could use the bpimagelist -media command to see what tape that
image is on, but since the image has expired you will have to try and figure it
out by "hand".
Once you find that media, then run bpimport to reintroduce it to the
environment.

I was hoping to get some feedback from the community on what type of VTL you

We currently have Copan and NetApp VTL. NetApp disbanded their VTL practice so
