The name is fmspdb3. Btw, I've decided to increase the required_client_timeout base on the error status = 54. Have you or any one ever customize the setting mentioned above ? By media, do you mean the source / oracle client? What does the client = line say on the oracle server? Yes, Oracle running on Media Server as a Oracle client and I have a scheduled backup configured in an Oracle policy for this client. This scheduled backup was running well before. It just happened in this last week. When backing up an Oracle for two hours, it shown a message said that failed.
