I'm installing a new VCS 5.1 cluster (on Solaris 10 x64) to cluster some
Solaris zones using the built-in Zone agent. However, unlike previous versions,
there is no ZoneName attribute for the Zone resource to define the very basic
name of the zone itself. I can't get the zone resource to work,
Yes, this helps, I have it working now. The Zone agent documentation was silent
on this new (multi-valued) attribute that goes onto the service group, not the
resource. Indeed, its right there in the virtualation document you linked to.
THANKS,
RCA
Scott:
We are trying to sell VCS clustering hosting various applications as a
product.
We have one contract still live on Veritas Storage Foundation HA 4.2 -
this is probably going to be replaced with version 5.0 on Windows 2008
next year - if the client renews!
