The Oracle agent for 4.1 can allow you to use the spfile on an instance
at the default location of $ORACLE_HOME/dbs.
Do not specify the Pfile attribute and it will use the command "startup"
to start the database. In Oracle 9i , if spfile is specified at the
default location, it will get picke

VCS 4.1 bundled Mount agent on Solaris supports
NFS mounts.
You need to set the FSType attribute to "nfs" . Please
refer to VCS 4.1 bundled agent guide.

oraerror.dat file in the Oracle Agent's directory.
Error 4031 may not be in this file.
