Like most everything in this world, it depends -- mainly on your application's requirements. What does 30ms response time mean to the end user? Are they happy with this? Are they happy with 100ms response times? This being said, most people don't actually know what their requirements are, so

I agree 100% with what you are saying. I find that 15-30ms is kicking butt for almost anything and about as good as it gets. Running Oracle. Finding that is will deal with up to 100ms and then only hold things up a bit a 500ms. -- Craig Simpson In the circle the beginning and the end
