Hi, I am new to EMC . I was asked to resize a filesystem in veritas , the storage team allocated a 20Gb LUN . This is what I saw when I discovered the new disks. I am confused here, what actually is the LUN size allocated? Is it 20 Gb really or more?Please advise. Any documents that i can

Hi, I had a problem recently with an upgrade of a solaris machine. It was a patch upgrade . After the task, all my emc LUNs were renamed . 'emcpower1a' became 'emcpower7a' and so on. Luckily I had 'volnamed' the devices via format ad hence could fix the mounts in vfstab. But I wasnt able to

It is supported ..at least in SF HA 4.x. At the end of the day a diskgroup is afterall a resource from a VCS perspective. we have had this kind of a configuration ..one service group with two diskgroups. Bascially two databases in one service group. Each database having its own
