I've requested that they make dragdrop out of Versions be an on-the- fly export command. That way we could simply drag files or folders directly into a Transmit (ftp client) window and not worry about uploading any of the .svn stuff. They actually replied to that email so maybe it'll happen. On

I've got a project with about 1 gigabyte of pdf files, 10 megabytes of jpeg files and a dozen html files. The repository and working copy are both on my laptop. Checking out, updating, and committing take mere seconds at most but doing an Export takes more than 15 minutes. Why? What can I do
