Re: Re-integrate existing local repository ?

2009-01-12 Thread David C. Zentgraf

Just copy the repository folder to the new machine.
In Versions, create a bookmark for an existing repository and point it
at the folder you copied.

 Hi all !

I already used Versions on another computer to track some
documentation files. To do that, i used create new local repository.
 All worked fine.

Today i set up my new computer and wanted to move my repository to
that new computer. But i can't figure out how to do that.

I know that i could just create a new local repository and then add
the files from the last checkout. But that way i would loose all the
information about changes made on the documents. So what i am looking
for is something like create local repository from an existing
 repository directory or similar.

How does one do that with Versions ?

 Thanks for help

Re: Dear Versions Team

2008-12-26 Thread David C. Zentgraf

Create a rule in your Gmail (easiest done with Filter messages like
this in the dropdown).
I have set mail lists to Skip Inbox and Apply label. The labels
show up as separate folders in IMAP...

Hope that helps.
Happy holidays!

Is there any way by chance you could add a tag to the begining of

I'm subscribed to Coda's as well and they have it implemented and it
comes in handy while viewing it from my iPhone.

If this is something I can change please let me know ;)

Re: getting repository references from a expired Versions

2008-12-09 Thread David C. Zentgraf

And for repos that you haven't checked out,
you can probably find the info you need in your Keychain.

 Hi,

My Versions' evaluation day is up, I got this message: Demo

now I'd like to try another SVN client, but I need to get those
repositories info from Versions, any idea where I can obtain that?
 Thanks.

The repository info isn't in Versions; it's on your disk somewhere for
the local (working) copy and on which ever server you're using for
 subversion.

Re: History Log: what's the first Show Changes supposed to do?

2008-11-18 Thread David C. Zentgraf

It doesn't do anything for folders, but try it on a file.
It should open FileMerge and show what changed in the selected revision.

I've been wondering about that all throughout the beta period. I

The History Log dialog displays two show changes buttons: an upper

what? All it seems to do for me is show a spinner for a couple of
 seconds.

Anyone get anything different or have some idea of what this is
 really
 supposed to do?

 Thanks,

Re: Annoying behaviour when using Spaces Versions...

2008-10-22 Thread David C. Zentgraf

+1 for this issue, very annoying.
A Transmit style dock icon with tiny upload/'download/finished
badge would be great.

 Very irritating.

Yeah, I agree that this is irritating. A better solution would be if
the icon in the dock would notify me about completion (or rather in
the spirit of how the iCal and Mail dock icons update Versions should
change the dock icon to indicate what its doing and revert back when
 its done).

 Lukas

I guess you're looking for the Compare Differences action then.
