In Subversion, this is just a Copy -- which does seem like a curious
omission. I suspect you can use Edit Duplicate and then move/rename.
- export
What's wrong with File Export?
FWIW, I launched Versions today and was told about 1.0.8. I updated, but was
unable to quit (I forget the exact dialog), and had to kill it from the
Terminal. (It was updated when I re-launched.)

noob question: if I am going to execute some svn commands from the
shell (ssh'ing in to fix something), do I need to shut down Versions
first?
I have always mixed matched command line and client (whether it's Versions or
Xcode), without quitting.

Either I am missing something or Versions needs an improved way of
adding files in a repo.
Working copy bookmarks show this for me... The repository can't know what files
on disk might need to be added -- after all, you might have several working
copies checked out from it.

, nice to see a fairly substantial update.

single-developer work. I do want to locate which revision a bug was fixed in
or feature added, however. And this can't be that hard -- Xcode does it.
More broadly, not everyone uses or wants the same features. And may not even
have a good idea of the difficulty of implementing them.

I'd like to buy Versions ASAP, but I know that if I buy it outside the
Mac App Store, I'll be asked to buy it again if it shows up there
eventually. Do you have plans to sell Versions through the App Store?
How do you know this? This is exactly opposite of what everyone else is
reporting.
Is there a way to create a Changelist in Versions so you don't have to
submit all working files at once?
Subversion isn't Perforce, but you can certainly select any files you want to
commit.

(Perforce changelists essentially let you group files into named lists while
they're checked out. I assume you're mapping modified to checked out, since
Subversion doesn't really have a checkout concept.)
