Re: Snow Leopard Beta

2009-08-26 Thread Quinn Taylor
The list of processes doesn't help much. In Activity Monitor, click on
Versions, then click Sample Process in the toolbar. That shows some
of the internal activity of the application, which provides a lot more
information to the developer.

So will the necessary fixes be in the production version of Versions
by this Friday when SL is out? Or after I format and install should I
install the beta instead?

  Koen,

Does this beta add any features we have been clamoring for or does it
fix any problems we have been experiencing? In particular does it
allow us to fix the size of columns and/or does it fix the problem of
lots of stuff being written to the Console (e.g., 7/30/09 12:09:57 PM

  Thank you.

Re: Snow Leopard Beta

2009-07-30 Thread Koen Bok

Hey Quinn,

Ha, that's interesting. We would like to, but the NDA prohibits
talking about some of it. Let's say it was around viewing things
fast :-)

The core was indeed running fine, but we tweaked some included library
linking (libcrypto), build against the 10.6 SDK and fixed some memory
issues as suggested by the static analyzer.
