You can use latex-style labelling, as described in the manual for Veusz ( see 
http://home.gna.org/veusz/docs/manual.html#idp28077644 ).

E.g., type C_{2}H_{6} to have 2 and 6 subscripted, or ^{13}C for 13 for 
superscripted.

The expression in {} can be multi-character.

I am just wondering if there is a way to manage superscript or subscript in the 
text of the axis labels, for instance when labels are chemical formulas?
Note: Veusz solved many issues I had working with excel…Also, I am glad I do 
not have to redraw my plots…Thank you...
