I like all kinds of fly fishing. Actually, I like al kinds of fishing. I'm
not
a dry-fly purist, but it is the kind of fishing I love the most.
I've heard the snickering and the sarcasm all my life, and I've stopped
apologizing and trying to explain and defending myself. it doesn't bother me

I would guess everyone is out raking leaves, my wife got me to do it this AM
and it was cold, my home water is starting to drop a little so maybe I'll
get out this Friday, if the weather gets a little warmer we are at about 45
degrees right now.

My fingers are pooped. Someone else give it a try.
Got no flames for posting too many rope-dub shading comments, so maybe there's
no one left to complain.
Just our little core group left. Check the last 3 swaps, that should be the
VFB list.

Hi DonO;
You inquired last week about anyone having webcam, you ever use one? If so,
what do you look for in a webcam?
I'm putting together a Panasonic toughbook CF-18 operating in Xp as a hobby
computer and was thinking about a webcam for things like shows and on line
classes.
Already
I bought a Logitech vid-cam at Office Max on sale. It comes with everything
and is 'plug-n-play' with a simple set-up wizard.
I chat with my friend in Bigfork on cam, but I haven't linked up with anyone
else yet. I sent out some invites to join me
'on cam', but no one has taken me up on it
Looks to me like a web cam could be dangerous, as in face book and farmland.

Just to stir things up, here's a streaming video/slideshow of a
multi-day trip several of us took to North Padre Island National

speckled trout, redfish, snook, jack crevalle, spanish mackeral, bonito,
kingfish and more.

Home water is Oatka Creek a little west of Rochester, NY about a ½ hour ride
from my house. Brown Trout water, the area I fish is a non-stocking area.

I installed Quicktime once, and it fouled up my whole pc.
Probably less conflict now, but I don't want to chance it,

45 crappie and 15 white, (sand bass),yesterday, on the North Bosque river,
tribuatary to Lake Waco. Crappie caught on crappie jig, white body, red head.
White bass caught on a blue and white Roadrunner. It's unusual to catch that
many whites this time of year, BUT, the fishing has been crazy

I have a Logitech web-cam and it works fine for viewing another person
online. I also have a web-cam built into my laptop. However I think that it
would be difficult to set up a webcam in order to view someone tying a fly
so that sufficient details could be viewed by another party. Most web-cams
Ended my trout fishing season on a spring creek in E WA. My largest resident
fish of the year came to a #16 Mo' Midge (a double midge pattern that is two
size 24 midges on one larger hook). It was over 26 inches, fat and healthy.
No picture as I was anxious to get him back in the water.
