Ft Desoto has many spots to wade fish. This is a good time of the year for
reds and trout. You might also get a shot at a sheepshead. I generally get
three or four on flys each winter. Anything that looks like a small
crab/shrimp( browns, olives and some orange). If you wade the beach there

a pool on this subject. Don't remember the name of the magazine, maybe Fly

The June weather is warm with a reasonable chance of afternoon showers.
Fishing is generally good. Ft Myers is close to many saltwater fishing
locations; Boca Grande, Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound, Englewood and the
Gasparilla Islands. Tarpon, Snook, Trout etc.
