Rene, for 7.00 you can't go wrong but you have a project rod. It appears to be an old HI or a Montague. They are low end rods. I have repaired and refinished several of them. If it were not such a hassle to get the broken tip to me so I can take measurements and get a section back to you, I woul

Rene, I'm by no means an expert like Tony is, and I'm sure you'll get excellent advise from him. It looks to me like the tip section is missing quite a bit- a guide (at least one) and the tip- judging from the compared lengths. I would build a new tip and a spare tip and re-do the rest of the ro
