Thanks, Chuck. For the past few years I have been buying expensive SA textured lines because they are so supple and tangle free. In the last year or so they’ve been tough to get. Turns out someone did a study that showed that the sound a textured line made when stripping through the guides

For floating lines, it remains to be seen if they continue to float after normal use. It is not casting
