Glue a piece of strong styrofoam to the bottom (say 1 x 1 by 3), located
where it needs to be to accept the hook where the fly would be best situated
(diagonal sometimes works). Poke the hook into the styrofoam and use a stout
rubberband to tie the bend of the hook to the opposite end of
Wanted to go fishing all day but the Creek was too high from the rain and they
were running five units at the dam., water was running high on the White. The
wind had been blowing hard all day..About 6 pm, I got a call from my fishing
buddy that lives up near the dam that the dam was shut down
