I haven't tied since the SowBug in 2004 so I am a little rusty to say the least.
I have only tied about 15 dozen flies the past month trying to get some flies
tied for my trip to Alaska in Sept.
I have been getting better and faster and they are looking better the more I
tie.

has just given up. She is in the hospital in Monahans Texas, and it seams

I remember watching Lee Wulff tie his Royal Wulff at one of our club meeting a
long time ago, without any tools except his hands and watching Mary Dettes tie
reminded me of that. Quite an experience

I got to see Lee tie at the N.Y. Coliseum back about 1945. I even got to talk
to him but I did not know who he was at the time. He told me to stay with the
fly tying. I was 15 years old at the time just starting to tie. My buddy and I
cut school that day to attend the show.
