Tony is doing fine. They were able to the surgery via the scope, so
he's not in the pain he would have been if they had slashed him open.
He said he can already tell there's a big improvement in his
esophagitis problem.
He is eager to get some solid food. He's getting mighty

foot guides have less impact on the blanks (aka rod)'s action. So I
build most of my rods with single food guides. Only my 2 9wt' rods

I'm not skilled enough a caster to be able to say one is better than the other.

Tony helped me get started making bamboo rods. From personal experience I
prefer Snake Brand snake guides. I made a set of identical rods, except one
was with single foots and the other with snakes. I am not an expert caster,
but there was no discernible notice to me. I think a lot of it is
Striperheads is near now, and the fishing and friendship await!
The website is till under construction, and I am on the west coast, so
email communication will have to work
there will be no flyswap/striperheads kits this year.
there WILL be the traditional Clamsteam/pot luck
